Drawing from my educational experience at the Parsons School of Design, I incorporated significant methodologies into the teaching framework of the FabLab internship program. Interdisciplinary design, a method encouraging the crossing of boundaries between different design domains, and iterative design, which promotes continuous improvement through cyclical prototyping, were key elements of the teaching strategy. These methods were chosen for their capacity to stimulate creative thinking, encouraging interns to view challenges from different perspectives and to refine their work. As a mentor, my goal was to create an environment where each intern felt empowered to explore and express their unique perspectives and ideas. My approach to mentorship was deeply personal.
