«À l'approbation d'étrangers» is a thriller fashion film exploring the nature of the relationship between an artist and an audience. Using the language of metaphor and exaggeration, the film puts together opulent, decadent fashion looks and aerie threads, almost hints of an artist's experience and feelings.

The «thriller» aspect of the film, its rhythm and suspense, was hugely inspired by Alfred Hitchcock's legacy. Color choices and a carefully crafted audio space carry viewers to the main unanswerable question: «Who owns art, the creator or the public?»
